Paddleboats & Electric Boats -- Paddleboats and little electric boats are available for rent at the Inner Harbor, adjacent to the World Trade Center. Hours vary according to season. Paddleboats, some built like dragons, cost $10 to $16 per half-hour per boat, depending on the number of people riding. Not that energetic? A half-hour ride on an electric boat will run $12 for two passengers or $18 for three.
Public Parks -- Baltimore has many green spaces, including a couple that deserve special mention.
Bring your Boat -- On a summer weekend, the Inner Harbor looks like a boat parking lot. So, c'mon, forget the car and sail into town. Inner Harbor docking fees range from $15 for 5 hours or $1.25 a foot for overnight docking. Contact the dockmaster at VHF68.
