It is said this is the last place Edgar Allan Poe was seen alive before his untimely death in 1849. By then, this Fells Point bar had been pouring drinks for 75 years, making it the oldest still-operating pub in the city. As you might imagine, it's a beat up place, with exposed brick walls, wagon wheel chandeliers (that seem to emit almost no light) and Jack Daniels' barrels set among the high-top tables. But the Horse remains a popular spot,  especially with college and young adult crowds in this hopping weekend party neighborhood. Maybe they come for the old-timer ambience. Or it could be  the promise of live music (cover bands primarily). Music starts most days at lunch time with up to three bands playing until midnight, although DJs frequently take over at 9:30pm. The kitchen serves up sandwiches, "Wild West Wings," quesadillas, and burgers
