In its former incarnation on Soi Sarasin (north side of Lumphini Park), Brown Sugar was hands-down Bangkok's best jazz bar. It's now reopened in the Banglamphu district, and so far only features live music on Fridays and Saturdays (with occasional mini-concerts on Sundays). However, there's always good background music—probably the coolest jazz in town—and with an extensive menu of food and drinks, this is one place that's definitely worth checking out for jazz aficionados.
