Located on trendy Phra Arthit Road (close to Khao San Road), Jazz Happens is a great spot to hear live jazz played by music students from nearby Silpakorn University. Expect to hear a mix of familiar and unfamiliar tunes, some instrumental and some featuring vocalists. Considering its comparatively cheap prices for drinks, an extensive menu of Thai dishes, and friendly service, this is an excellent choice for a night out in the Big Mango. The interior is cozy and the walls are lined with black and white photos, but it's often crowded as it only has a handful of tables, though there also a few seats on the street outside.
