Saxophone is one of the Big Mango's longest-standing night spots, and one of its most reliable if you're looking for somewhere with good live music, welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Its location is far away from the traditional centers of nightlife along Silom Road and Sukhumvit Road, but it's easy to get to as the skytrain station is just round the corner. Music is generally jazz and blues, though it's pretty eclectic, and it's not unusual to see a 10-piece band pumping out a Bob Marley tune. The acoustics are great and lighting well thought-out, making the place very cozy. Beers are only a couple of dollars each and a there's a varied menu of food, making this an ideal one-stop location for a night out.
