Since opening a few years back, the Sky Bar on the 63rd floor of the Lebua State Tower on Silom Road has quickly become a de rigueur experience for visitors to Bangkok. It claims to be the world's highest open-air bar, and the bar itself changes color constantly due to clever lighting. It became even more popular after the movie Hangover II included a scene here, and their best-selling cocktail is currently a "Hangovertini." The best time to visit is around 6pm to watch the sun set over Bangkok, but it can get very crowded, drinks (as you'd expect) are outrageously expensive, and there's a strict dress code (for kids as well).
