This unforgettable restaurant on the 52nd floor of the Lebua State Tower on Silom Road is the place to take someone you want to impress, but make sure that they don't suffer from vertigo and that your pockets are well lined. On arrival, you'll cross a neon-lit "skybridge" and continue down to the al fresco dining terrace, which enjoys spectacular views of the city skyline. You'll then be introduced to the chef, who will run through a few of his recommendations for the day. The menu features dishes like Wagyu beef ribs off the bone and Hunan-style wok-fried Maine lobster. There's an extensive wine list and desserts are to die for. While you're in this amazing environment, head on up to the 63rd floor for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail at the Sky Bar (see Nightlife). Bear in mind that there's a strict dress code here, so no shorts, sleeveless tops, or sandals.
