Designed to resemble a traditional market, the cooking stations are quartered off into zones representing different areas of Thailand. Collectively they offer something for everyone. Upon entering, you’ll get a card to use for purchases at the food stalls and or for purchasing pre-packaged goods, and pay the balance when you’re ready to exit. If the weather isn’t too hot, this is a great place to stock up on picnic provisions for an al fresco lunch in nearby Lumpini Park (p. ###). Simple Thai salads, whole sea bass steamed with herbs, fried omelets, and pad Thai with jumbo prawns are all satisfying choices.
