This place is extremely popular with Thai students, partly because of the very cheap prices and partly for the extensive menu that includes lots of vegetarian options. The walls are plain white with small, abstract artworks, and there's a piano in the corner that sometimes provides gentle background music for diners in the evening. It's close to Khao San Road, so it also attracts quite a lot of backpackers. It's quite small and can get crowded at times (reserve ahead to be sure of a table), and when it's busy service tends to be a bit slow, but the food quality is consistently good. Try the miang, a tasty snack with nuts, garlic, ginger, and other crunchy morsels wrapped in leaves. The banana flower salad is also great.
