Most visitors to Bangkok are keen to see a performance of traditional dance during their stay, and Sala Rim Naam, run by the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, features probably the best performers, dressed in the most spectacular costumes, to be found in the city. While watching the show, either at a comfortable table or seated on floor cushions, you'll enjoy a seven-course meal that includes a fantastic variety of tastes and textures. Soft drinks are included but alcoholic drinks are extra. Dishes include dumplings filled with chicken and peanuts and red duck curry. After the show, there's a chance to get a souvenir photo with the performers to remind you of the evening. The dress code here prohibits shorts or sleeveless tops.
