Don't worry: no dogs were harmed to create the meals here. The husband and wife team who created the joint named it for their pet dog. They met in China, while each was teaching English there, and decided to create a restaurant that reminded them of the food back home. That means what's on offer is the type of tasty grub you'd get in Texas or North Carolina:  full rack sof baby back ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, corn-bread, slaw, smoky beans, mac‘n’-cheese, all washed down with craft beers.
