The market covers a lot of ground and you won’t have time to see everything, which is okay, because the goods at the entrance aren’t very special and unless you need a glittery phone case or tuk-tuk ornament, you can keep moving. What you don’t want to miss, however, is the large antique section in the Warehouse Zone and a section called Rod’s Antiques. There you’ll find brick-and-mortar shops selling everything under the sun. Need a vintage Vespa? Check. On the hunt for rare Japanese action figures? Done. The vendors are relaxed and up for a little bit of haggling, but the prices on leather goods, Coca-Cola collectibles, electronics and more are already pretty low. Open-air bars and Thai wannabe rockstars crooning classic American hits make this an enjoyable market worth the schlep in a taxi.
