When they say “family-run hotel,” they mean it. The Legend Garden Condos is ably overseen by Delia, Bird, and their small children, in a truly friendly, family atmosphere. This little hotel lies at the end of a palm-lined 200-yard drive (250 years ago this was a plantation) on 2½ tropically landscaped acres where green monkeys scramble for mangos in the evenings. There are only eight one-bedroom suites and a two-bedroom, each with kitchenette, and all done in an eclectic, homey, Bajan style. There’s a minimum three-night stay—but with lodgings this comfortable and lovely, this is far from a hardship.
