The Lamb and Lion has a lot to recommend it., but most of its laurels stem from the fact that its owners Tom Dott and Ali Pitcher understand hospitality. They also understand fun (Dott is an Elvis impersonator), and they will ensure that you have it. The rooms, which are all different, include some with wood-burning fireplaces or with kitchenettes. From the outside, this is a classic antique Cape house with a beautiful lawn and gardens, with lots of colorful flowerboxes and flower beds. Inside, you’ll be surprised to see the guest rooms surround a courtyard with a saltwater pool and large hot tub. There is also a converted 1700s horse stable the size of a small cottage. Also on site is a spa where you can have a massage, facial, or other treatment. The owners are fans of small dogs, and they have several.
