This modern cathedral looks like a flamboyant art deco cinema. It took 27 years to complete, finally opening in 1982. A big chunk of that time was spent finishing the elaborate stained glass windows that are its main attraction. They radiate in multi-colored triangular forms above the main entrance and from floor to ceiling along the very tall walls, and are a dazzling sight to behold.
