Walk past the trees and down a set of stairs, and you’re on the point where you can catch a pipeline and ride it all the way upriver to the sandy beach. It is convenient for surfers, and charges low-season rates during the winter when the big waves roll in. Be sure to wipe your feet before entering—you don’t want to track in sand to scratch the polished wood floors.
