Franz-Liszt-Museum

Wagner’s wife, Cosima (1837–1930), was the daughter of Franz Liszt (1811–86), the great Hungarian-born composer and piano virtuoso who revolutionized piano playing. The composer lived and died in Bayreuth, and now rests in the local cemetery. The museum shows the room where the composer died, and displays memorabilia related to his life and work.
