This artsy boutique space is a perfect match for its surroundings in the middle of the capital's thriving 798 Art District. Interiors are beautifully designed, mixing playful Art Deco with Chinese contemporary. The use of bold colors throughout is striking, from tomato-red sofas to bright chartreuse cabinets. The 30 rooms and suites in this former crystal factory all include lofty ceilings, original Bauhaus-style windows, luxury linens, and, of course, lots of art. The hotel restaurant, Yi House Bistro, serves up delicious continental fare, and its two-course lunch sets are a bargain. Just outside the hotel are galleries and studios galore, so art lovers can wander to their heart's content.
