This opulently luxe bar and club was designed by French superstar Philippe Starck over a decade ago, but it still has its "wow factor." The enormous interior is eclectic and wild: Think rhino heads, Chinese vases, gold-plated Kalashnikov lamps, Hindu icons, animal-print seats, and velvet chaises. Then there's the Renaissance-style paintings hung upside down from the ceiling. In addition to the bar and lounge, there's also a restaurant, a cigar room, and several dozen private VIP rooms. Everything here is over the top, including the toilets—don't miss the individual bathrooms that come with mirrored walls, a silver armchair, and swan-shaped faucets. The drink menu is enormous, of course, with a huge array of European and New World wines. The drinks are delivered by a rigorously trained staff. Food covers basic and fusion Chinese and sushi territory, and there are lounge acts and visiting DJs as entertainment, but the real fun here comes from ogling the surroundings.
