A friendly welcome awaits from hosts Roger and Olive, whose handsome Victorian corner house has been converted into one of the best B&Bs in Belfast. They’re the sort of hosts for whom nothing seems too much trouble in order to make guests feel more at home. The recently renovated bedrooms are simple but neat as a pin, with print fabrics and views of the street. You’re in a residential area here, but not far from the action; the city center is about a 10-minute cab or bus ride away. Roger cooks delicious breakfasts and guests can expect the full Ulster fry, in addition to a few options such as kippers with parsley butter and scrambled eggs. They also bake their own traditional Irish wheaten bread from scratch, even down to milling their own flour.
