This great little find in the heart of the University Quarter is great for traditional Irish cooking with a few modern flourishes. The dining room is quirky and small; maybe a little too much so, especially when it gets busy. You might start with some squid or perhaps scallops in a sweet orange sauce before moving on to some tender, pink roast duck with creamy mashed potato. Desserts are mostly sweet comfort food with some touches of invention. Try the mango and chocolate mousse if it’s on offer. Early bird specials are a good value.
