For 250 years, KPM has been producing fine porcelain (called “white gold”), including pieces that are hand-painted and hand-decorated with patterns based on traditional 18th- and 19th-century KPM designs. There are sales outlets throughout Berlin, including at KaDeWe department store (see below), at Friedrichstrasse 158 in Mitte, and iat Kurfǖrstendamm 27 (in the Kempinski Hotel Bristol). The best selection is at the KPM flagship store and manufactory, where you can take a guided tours (12€; Sat 3pm) and see the craftspeople at work, or buy pieces in the showroom.
