This family-owned resort is one of Bermuda’s most beloved. The majority of its guests are repeat-visitors who come for its ocean view rooms and sprawling Club Condos—two- and three-bedroom living spaces that are among the island’s most luxurious. Lavishly appointed and thoughtfully designed, these units feature granite-topped kitchens with stainless steel appliances, oversized bathrooms with stand-alone soaking tubs and rain showers, ocean view balconies with outdoor whirlpools, and amazingly, sliding floor-to-ceiling glass walls that instantly convert the indoor living room into an open-air space. If the condos are beyond your budget, the newly renovated rooms and suites in the main hotel, are quite nice. All have private balconies or patios that face the ocean and a breezy island style (driftwood finish furniture and Bermudian artwork in living spaces, his-and-hers blue glass vanities and glassed-in showers in bathrooms). The hotel's secluded pink sand beach, with its craggy rock formations and ocean-penetrating coral boilers, is among the best in Bermuda (perfect for snorkeling). The resort also has one of the better spas on island. Called La Serena, its pre-and post-treatment relaxation room has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean. The onsite restaurants are terrific.
