If you’re staying near the west end or happen to be passing through Southampton parish en route to the Royal Naval Dockyard, this is a swell little spot to pick up an inexpensive take out meal (there are also no-frills tables beside the to-go counter). The menu is an ever-changing lineup of Jamaican and Caribbean specialties: jerk chicken, barbecue ribs, braised oxtail, peas and rice, macaroni and cheese, and savory johnny bread. It’s all delicious.
