If you’re looking for an ultra-casual, relatively inexpensive lunch in Hamilton, then look no further than this cozy Queen Street café. All of its seating is on a large outdoor patio adjacent to Par-la-Ville Park, so you can sit outside with your sandwich, salad, or hot plate special of the day and watch the birds, flowers, and trees that call the park home. The menu changes daily, but you can always order a Summer Sandwich (tuna, boiled egg, cucumber, sweet peppers, spring onion, and Kalamata olives on a French country loaf), a chicken or beef pie, or any one of its freshly made salads including a very good tuna Niçoise. On Fridays in season, the café hosts one of Bermuda’s most happening happy hours from 5pm until midnight, when island revelers transform it into a jumping singles bar complete with a live DJ.
