Perched on Bermuda's eastern tip, The Beachhouse at Blackbeard's may not be the easiest place to get to, but if you're anywhere near St. George's then make a beeline for this breezy hilltop restaurant overlooking Fort St. Catherine and stunning Achilles Bay. With an open-air dining room that faces the ocean, this seasonal restaurant is open April through November and features a well-executed lineup of burgers, sandwiches, and salads for lunch—including one of Bermuda's best fish sandwiches, made with marinated pan-seared wahoo—and fresh fish entrees and steamed mussels for dinner. It's also one of the best places on the island to watch the sunset, so make a reservation before dusk and enjoy the view.
