European Bison Reserve
A ranch-style zoo showcasing a small but engaging selection of animals, namely the crowd-pulling European bison, from fully grown to young ones. Not to be missed are the tarpans, a species related to the extinct Eurasian wild horse that looks like something that has just stepped out of the Ice Age. Another oddity is zubron, the result of crossing European bison with domestic cattle. If you drag your feet, it will take an hour to see everything, including the lynx, elk, wild boar, wolves, stags, and roe deer.
