Boca Raton Museum of Art
Much like Florida, the collection here ranges from very old to very young: statuettes from 800 BC to 21st century paintings by the likes of Kehinde Wiley. It’s a relatively small, but well-chosen permanent collection, with photographs, contemporary sculptures and paintings, studio glass and ceramics, and African Art and the Art of the Ancient Americas. The museum also stages a wide variety of excellent temporary exhibitions by local and international artists. Lectures and films are offered on a regular basis.
