J&J’s Seafood Bar & Grill
Before Atlantic Avenue became the place for dining, J&J’s was doling out fresh seafood to a satisfied clientele. Changing not a thing since 1999, this tiny seafoodery is still the place to go in Delray for fresh fish. Among the standouts on the menu are the fish tacos, the grilled scallops over risotto with orange habanero, the coconut curry shrimp and a grilled grouper with shrimp in a pink guava hollandaise. The restaurant gets a very local, somewhat mature crowd, many of whom congregate at the bar for oysters and rose. It’s an affable scene.
