This small hotel is set in a renovated colonial house where rooms range from cozy to large. The upstairs rooms are a real bargain for families or those traveling in a large group. Though simple, rooms are tasteful, elegant, and, at this price, a good bang for your buck. The hotel is located in ultra-bohemian Chorro de Quevedo, where plenty of cafes, restaurants, and bars are nearby. You should be warned the plaza fills with hippie-esque bongo players all day and night Friday and Saturday, though the hotel rooms do a pretty good job of keeping the noise out.
