A cagette is a crate, usually full of fresh produce—which is the main ingredient at this low-key restaurant. High ceilings and wide windows set the tone: lots of light in both the menu and the ambiance. At lunch there is a quiche, a seasonal soup, a sandwich du jour, and a couple of main dishes to choose from, like a shrimp risotto with spinach, or a steak tartare. At dinner, you create your own combo, choosing 4, 6 or 8 small portions from a list of 20 or so delightful possibilities.
