The conceit here is clever: Ask some of Boston’s star chefs for a sandwich recipe, then put them all onto one menu. Parish Cafe has made it work for over 25 years, providing guests sneak peeks into the flavor profiles of restaurants all over the city. The menu has been updated over the years, but it’s kept a long-time favorite: the Zuni Roll, by Norma Gillaspie: smoked turkey, bacon, scallions, dill Havarti cheese, and cranberry chipotle sauce in a warm tortilla with a side of sour cream. The restaurant is busy with the office crowd at lunch and after work for drinks, and has an appealing front patio for outdoor dining. The kitchen serves the full menu until 1am, with the bar open until 2am.
