Birdland
This handsomely designed attraction sits on 3.4 hectares (8 1/2 acres) of field and forests on the banks of River Windrush, about 1.6km (1 mile) east of Bourton-on-the-Water. It houses about 500 birds, including three species of penguins. Other feathered friends include pelicans, storks, flamingos, cranes, parrots, toucans, kookaburras, and pheasants. Birdland has a picnic area and a children's playground in a wooded copse.
