A beautifully restored 18th-century palace that now serves as the seat of the mayor of Bratislava. It was here in 1805 that a victorious Napoleon Bonaparte and Holy Roman Emperor Francis I signed the Treaty of Pressburg following the Battle of Austerlitz (now Slavkov, near the Moravian city of Brno). You can tour the inside of the palace; the highlights include the Chamber of Mirrors (Zrkadlová sien), as well as a valuable collection of tapestries.
