Dundry Inn
Bristol's equivalent of a gastro-pub sits high on a hill over the town in the quaint village of Dundry. The atmosphere is "classic pub" but the food is a cut above, particularly if you stick with the house specialty: red meat. We're talking aged rib eye steaks, roast beef, succulent brisket, juicy burgers--all are topnotch. Also of note: the savory pies, which change daily and while hearty have a light and greaseless crust. As you might expect, the pub serves a good selection of casked ales.
