This small bed-and-breakfast, run by a father-and-daughter team, is on a small street that's very close to t'Zand, a few minutes' walk from the station to the south, and also near the Markt and Burg, to the northeast. It's in an old 19th-century house, so it's no surprise that there's no elevator, but the rooms are a good size, and are conventionally decorated with comfortable furniture; those at the back have air conditioning. There's a good breakfast served in a separate dining room, which leads onto a small terrace. The owners are friendly and helpful, and will give you cards to nearby restaurants that entitle you to a free drink. It's not the cheapest small guesthouse in Bruges, but it's definitely a good value.
