With a terrace overlooking the picturesque Rozenhoedkaai canal, this corner pub is crowded all day every day with Belgian beer fans anxious to sample as many brews as possible. There are usually seven draft beers on offer. They change with the seasons, but might include Brugse Zot from the Half Moon Brewery (see below) fruit beers, trippels, and white beer. Wait staff are well informed on the pedigree of their beers, but service can be somewhat brusque, mostly owing to the constant crowds. There’s little in the way of nourishment to soak up the alcohol so things can get a little boisterous on weekend evenings. The pub also hosts a beer store.
