The Brunswick Hotel
The rooms and common spaces at the Brunswick Hotel are a little corporate-feeling, with a lot of browns and beiges and generic hotel art on the walls, but they’re clean and efficient, and moreover, you can’t beat the location. Guests can walk out the front door, turn left, and be immediately among the restaurants and shops of downtown Brunswick. Turn right, and they’re on the campus of Bowdoin College, within walking distance of its incredible art museum. That proximity means rooms can fill up when college kids are arriving or leaving, or if the university hotsts some high-profile event, and to some degree, summer is the quiet season.
