The tacos, enchiladas, and wraps are probably not the most authentic Tex-Mex cuisine, but they’re tasty and filling and fairly cheap, a boon to the many Bowdoin College students who crush beers and bowl frames at this mildly hipstery gastro-lanes. Candlepin bowling, if you’re unfamiliar, is a New England tradition (with a particular toehold in Maine): little balls you can hold in your palm, stick-straight pins. Bolos has live music some Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays and strong, creative margaritas every day (fig-and-pineapple marg, anyone?).
