Rouge Tomate

Set in a 19th-century mansion on chic, boutique-lined Avenue Louise, this restaurant champions clean eating, with a healthy portion of organic, seasonal produce accompanying nearly every dish. As a result, the menu changes frequently but expect fine-tuned mains like grilled halibut and soft-shell crab with roasted artichokes, carrots, and potatoes, and spicy duck breast served with smoked carrots and wedges of fried chickpeas. The interior is a sleek, all-white affair with punches of bright red; it’s lovely but if the weather is cooperating, the plant-filled back garden can’t be beat. One drawback: the service can be downright snooty. For a nightcap, head upstairs to the swanky, 1940s-inspired Alice Cocktail Bar.
