In an island within Óbuda's residences, a building dating back to the turn of the century has been restored to its original appeal. Temporary exhibitions, music workshops, and theatrical performances on the open-air stage during the summertime all elevate this tiny venue to compete with its larger rivals. Since 1995, it has hosted Art Salon in Óbuda where art in many forms, such as music, literature, and the visual arts, coexist to be available for those interested in a particular subject or period in history, a school of art or, occasionally, a taste in gastronomy. Proudly, it is also home to the Budapest Ragtime Band, it's a prominent venue of the Budapest Spring Festival, and also presents up-to-par chamber music concerts. Ticket prices vary considerably from program to program, but each has its own set price. The box office is open daily 10am to 6pm.
