This hotel with a neoclassical facade has an excellent location on a quiet street just behind the Opera House and all of the cafés, shops, and bars that leafy Andrássy út holds. It has the usual business amenities, including a well-equipped business lounge, but it's equally appealing for the individual traveler looking for a centrally located room, great service, and good prices. It consists of two wings, with most rooms facing the courtyards, and the rest facing the street. The entire hotel is furnished in a fairly minimalistic and Scandinavian style, with hints of Asia. Rooms are fitted with rattan and light wood furniture, thick carpeting, and crisp bed linens (you can choose your pillow from a menu). There's a stylish lounge for relaxing, and a bar and restaurant, though with so many great dining and drinking choices just outside the door, it would be a shame to just hang out here.
