The Danube is such an integral part of Budapest's life, with so many ways to experience it, including listening to live music by the river, perhaps with a drink in your hand. One of Budapest's best concert venues is this old Ukrainian ship, docked on the Danube and now a complex with an exhibition space, a restaurant, and five different bars. An impressive number of cultural events and concerts is held here, with something happening nearly every night, from jazz and world music to electronic and rock; many of the performers are international bands.
