This bar and restaurant, not far from the Opera House, is made of several different rooms; the main one, where the bar is, has skylights on the ceilings. Worn Oriental rugs on the floors make the large space seem more homey that it might otherwise seem, and it's casually decorated with mismatched chairs and tables (including a few long communal ones). On weekends the bistro is popular with families with children, and there is often live music in the evenings. The menu here is somewhat unfocused, with everything from Thai and Indian to burgers and goulash, so it's better to skip the food and come instead for relaxed pre- or postdinner drinks. Its owners also operate a sister bar, Jelen (Blaha Lujza tér 1–2).
