Okay, so you came to the Centro Cultural Recoleta, adjacent to the Recoleta Cemetery, to see art and be sophisticated. Well, here's the place to bring the kids afterward, or let them wander in on their own. In this museum, unlike so many others, not touching is prohibited! There are two floors full of science displays where kids can touch, play, and see how electricity, gravity, and many other things work -- all designed with fun in mind. Communications rooms, mechanical rooms, and wave and sound rooms all have various interactive stands that are aimed at kids of all ages. Sure, it's a noisy place, but if you can find a way to make learning fun, that's not such a bad side effect.
