This landmark hotel consists of two parts—the 12-story "Park" tower housing most of its guest rooms, and the 1916 French-style "La Mansión," with elegant suites and private-event rooms. A French-style garden and a pool separate the buildings, and a well-equipped health club contains a spa offering various treatments, including wine massages and facials. The hotel's restaurant, Le Mistral, serves excellent Mediterranean cuisine in a casual setting. Spacious guest rooms have walk-in closets, wet and dry bars, stereo systems, cellphones, and large marble bathrooms with water-jet bathtubs. Executive Library Floor guests enjoy a private lounge and additional in-room amenities including a printer, fax machine, Argentine wine, complimentary breakfast, and evening cocktails. Kids receive bedtime milk and cookies. A favorite hotel of many celebrities, it's most famous as Madonna's choice during the filming of Evita and again on the latest tour that took her through BA.
