This small temple located below Nakhwa-am by the Baengma River was limited in size by its rocky location. The temple's name comes from gorancho, a medicinal herb that grows nearby. But more famous than the structure is the nearby spring water. Legend has it that a cup of this water will make a person 3 years younger. There is an old tale that an old man became a baby after drinking too much of this water. If you get a chance, take a ferry ride along the river for a scenic view of the area.
