A destination in its own right, this is one of Israel’s finest gourmet restaurants. At its helm is the remarkable Amos Sion. His exciting contemporary menu takes inspiration from the cuisines of North Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East. So you might find yourself dining on sautéed mussels in blue-cheese sauce with crispy seaweed and Egyptian spices, or chicken in date syrup on mustard pasta. If it’s on the menu, the beef fillet demi-glace with pastry shells filled with porcini sauce is over the top delish. Desserts are light and elegant; the wine list is excellent; and the view of the sunset over the sea is simply the cherry on top of the experience.
