Shaw Millennium Park
This massive park, maintained by the City of Calgary, is the largest free, outdoor 24-hour skateboarding park in North America. There's a gnarly street course with ledges, flat bars, stairs, and trannies, an intermediate course with rails down stairs and banks, and an advanced course with a cloverleaf bowl and a large full pipe. With 6,968 sq. m (75,000 sq. ft.) of skate-able surface, basketball courts, and four sand volleyball courts, it's one of the largest skateboard parks in North America and draws skaters of all ages from all over the continent.
