Whisk yourself out into the country, only 20 minutes from downtown at this lovely restaurant inside a heritage ranch home in Fish Creek Provincial Park. As expected, there’s a lot of meat and game on the menu, usually offered in tandem with creative details, like a bison rib-eye with wild mushroom ragout and mustard spaetzle. Stars on the menu include the elk osso bucco and the pecan-crusted Berkshire pork tenderloin. It's also great for a weekend brunch.
